Home / Water Control Gates / Stop Logs
Multipiece stoplogs are used instead of single piece stoplogs when there is a weight and height restriction in handling. Stoplogs are used for isolation application in open channel where (i) immediate closure or isolation of waterway opening in a short time is not required (ii) isolation requirement is infrequent and (iii) more than one person is available for operation. Stoplogs are suitable for insertion in multiple frames installed at different locations provided the stoplogs and the frame are of the same width.
These are offered in varied designs and various materials of construction such as Aluminum / Stainless steel / Composite etc to suit the intended application. These can be provided with automatically engaging lifting beam so as to be lifted using manual or electric hoisting mechanism.
Lightweight corrosion resistant stop logs for isolation duties. Waterfront stop logs are designed and manufactured to suit modern industrial and domestic effluent environments. Stoplogs are suitable for isolation duties and applications where single piece stop gates would be to heavy to lift or where multiple door sections are required.
Standard sizes : 200mm square up to 4000mm square or any rectangular size within these limitations.
Bespoke sizes: Larger sizes are available to suit most applications but mechanical lifting would be required. Stop log depths are built up with a combination of logs generally 300mm and 400mm deep.
